A new year has begun. 2018 was unfortunately not a very productive one for me. When I looked over how many books I released, I was shocked to see it was only two!
That’s definitely not enough and I plan to do a lot better this year. I want to try to get back to the days when I had at least six books out per year, if not more.
But of course, in order to release six books a year, I have to have six books planned. And do I?
Well, without giving away too much, I will say that the long-awaited fifth book in the Luther Cross series has been completed!
If you’ve read Devil’s Conflict, then you already know that it ended on something of a cliffhanger. And that cliffhanger will be resolved in this book (and no, it’s not just a simple fix).
The cover’s currently in progress. I spoke with Annette, who’s done such an awesome job on the covers for the first four books, and she’s coming back again for this one as well. We’ve already decided on images and a concept, so once she gets it to me, I’ll share it here.
As for the sixth book, I’ve started outlining it. I have a few working titles in mind, but none I’m ready to share just yet. At the moment, I’m planning for this to be the last book in the Luther Cross series.
But don’t worry! That doesn’t mean I’ll be leaving the world of Luther behind. I have plans for a spin-off series (or possibly a few). And there are also some other projects unrelated to Luther that have gotten my curiosity lately.
More on those when I have some additional information.
Oh, and one more thing. If you were ever interested in checking out some of my other work, I’ve just collected all six books in The Myth Hunter series in two volumes.
Nothing Found
In addition to all six books, these sets also include two short stories, “The Wild Hunt” (originally published in PulpWork Christmas Special 2013) and “Challenge of the Lost World” (originally published in Legends of New Pulp Fiction).
Hope you enjoy them!
